Newsletter 10/07 - Summers Coming
If you’re looking for a boat for summer.. don’t delay… our inquiry rate is rising everyday and indications are that we’ll have a waiting list for boats by mid December..
New Web Page
Change is good and we’re very pleased to have had a new web page written for YachtShare showing our latest logos and improving the load speed of each page. The new web page encompasses more specification information for each boat and we’ll be implementing a series of extra photos for each boat soon.
You may also note the video snapshot on our home page that was part of our recent television campaign during the airing of ‘The Boat Show’ series on Prime TV.

We’re pleased to have our previous YachtShare client Mr Ian Kuperus place his brand new Beneteau 40 yacht in our fleet based at the new Orakei marina along Auckland’s waterfront.
Those of you that have already seen the new release of the Beneteau 40 will no doubt love it’s modern European styling and smooth exterior lines with superior fittings. We’re sure it will be a popular addition to the fleet at $1350 / month ……..so call us soon.

Carpe Diem is due to arrive in our fleet ready for summer on 1st December.

Nigel Winnard rises to the winter challenge
It’s been a busy winter with many of the boats undergoing some significant improvements and of course the usual antifouling, planning and positioning for forthcoming summer has kept the team busy. Nigel in his role as General Manager has fitted in well and has been enjoying the hustle and bustle of new clients joining the membership.
Lowther Family still on tour
Laurie and his family have settled into the holiday life and have traveled extensively the coast of Croatia, Greece and Turkey for the past 6 months. Moving south for the winter and ten months to go via Syria / Jordon / Egypt/ Italy /France, he’ll be back in Auckland to pay for and plan the next adventure in June 2008.
Pacific Pearl has the regal treatment
It’s been a long time coming, but our 51ft Vindex Pacific Pearl has had a fresh lease on life.
• First to top the list were engine rebuilds on both engines ensuring better performance curves for a longer time.
• Complete overhaul of the stern legs ready for summer.
• Touch up paint job on the bow area and removal of the minor bow scrapes and dings.
• Full new complement of cutlery and crockery for the galley.
• Full varnish job throughout the interior.
• New antifoul on the hull.
• A brand new flybridge ladder removing that awful curve that caught so many people out!
• Brand new Genset from Northern Lights
• And to come are new upholstery, new kitchen bench, improved stainless railing at the stern.
Rendezvous a huge hit
Never before have we seen such popularity as we have seen in Rendezvous our Antares 9.80 launch.
With continuing enquiry for memberships this summer, we’re desperately trying to secure another launch of similar style and quality.
Our YachtShare private investor is over the moon with the investment as it’s showing returns well above initial budgets and the quality of the vessel has kept maintenance costs to a bare minimum.
Any client wishing to own their own launch should talk to us urgently.
Fish Lures fall into two catagories
1. The lures that a fisherman swears he swears by and that he will generously share with you.
2. The ones that he hides because they really work.
HAPPY SUMMER BOATING
